This looks like a very cool exhibition concerning the future possibilities of ubiquitous integration of technology into the city.  Although it focuses on the city I can see application for the IDeX Studio at WSU which is exploring the creation of the smartFARM.

Environmental Graffiti has several examples of vertical gardens. The big question is how this can be fully integrated into a holistic building system rather than another element tacked onto a conventional structure.

Next thought is how this might be transformed from just a garden and into a vertical “Living Machine” that would close the water loop for a building.

Integrated Environmental Solutions has just released a sketchup version of their energy modeling software that had been the exclusive domain of Revit.  Another step toward making ‘green architecture’ easier. Check it out.
